Sega’s toy division is set to launch a new hybrid collectible line called BLOFFFu, combining soft plush bodies with hard molded parts. The line will feature 36 characters from global franchises, including Sanrio characters, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Sesame Street, Tom and Jerry, and anime icons like Lum from Urusei Yatsura and Creamy Mami from Magical Angel Creamy Mami. The full lineup goes on sale October 16, 2026.
What is BLOFFFu?
BLOFFFu is built on the concept of “Perfectly mismatched.” The unexpected combination of a fluffy plush exterior and a rigid, molded body creates a unique charm, inviting fans to discover their own creative ways to play and display these figures.
A Lineup of 36 Characters
The roster includes Sanrio characters, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Sesame Street, Tom and Jerry, plus anime favorites such as Lum from Urusei Yatsura and Creamy Mami from Magical Angel Creamy Mami. In total, 36 characters are officially licensed, spanning 59 products across three size categories.
Three Sizes, Endless Display Options
BLOFFFu is available in three sizes: BIT, the smallest size that fits in the palm; MOD, a medium size that can be posed sitting or standing; and DEKA, the largest size that commands attention in any space. Each figure comes with a dedicated accessory that expands its world. The BIT size also includes a “PERCH,” a small stand inspired by a bird perching on a finger, allowing you to showcase your figure in new ways.
Original Characters Join the Fun
Three original BLOFFFu characters debut alongside the licensed figures: Ziggg, Amuuu, and Myafffu. Ziggg and Amuuu are twins living in a cyberpunk game world—Ziggg is logical and loves figures, while Amuuu is free-spirited and prefers plush toys. They are joined by Myafffu, a genius cat with an IQ of 263. These three can be mixed and matched with other characters for even more creative play.
Release and Pop-Up Store Details
BLOFFFu will be available from October 16, 2026, at the official BLOFFFu EC site and POP UP STORE. As a special early release, the SONIC & FRIENDS series will go on sale starting October 2 at SEGA STORE TOKYO and SEGA STORE OSAKA. To celebrate the launch, a limited-time pop-up store will open at MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya, Tokyo, from October 16 to November 1, at THE [ ] STORE, where the entire lineup can be seen and purchased. During this period, customers who spend at least 4,840 yen (tax included) at the store will receive an official novelty strap (first-come, first-served). Additionally, a line of official apparel T-shirts designed by artist Kawamura Kousuke will be available exclusively at the store.
