Berserk’s Slan, the Whore Princess of the Uterine Sea, is being brought to three dimensions as a new figure. Preorders for the Ultimate Premium Masterline Berserk Slan Whore Princess of the Uterine Sea DX Bonus Version begin on September 25, 2026, with release planned for February through May 2028.
A Dark Fantasy Landmark
Berserk is a dark fantasy manga by Miura Kentarou that began serialization in 1989. It follows protagonist Guts as he lives ferociously in a world of swords, magic, and monsters. Following Miura’s death in May 2021, the series went on hiatus. Since June 2022, it has been credited as “Original Story: Miura Kentarou, Manga: Studio Gaga, Supervision: Mori Kouji.” The series continues in Hakusensha’s Young Animal, though it has recently been published irregularly.
The manga was adapted into TV anime in 1997 as Kenpuu Denki Berserk. From 2012 to 2013, the Berserk Saga Project released a three-part film series adapting the original’s Golden Age arc. A new TV anime followed in 2016.
Slan’s First Appearance Reimagined in 1/4 Scale
The figure draws on Slan’s first appearance, when the Whore Princess of the Uterine Sea emerges during the Eclipse that occurs once every 216 years, slowly revealing herself and striking fear into the formidable Band of the Hawk. Building on experience from two previous Slan figures, the sculpt and paintwork have been further updated. Her bewitching silhouette and otherworldly beauty are captured in detail at 1/4 scale.
Her face, marked by beast-like pupils, translates the manga’s touch into three dimensions. The piece intricately blends deformation and realism, giving form to a familiar image of Slan in a shape never seen before. Particular attention is paid to the delicate gradations of her hair, a skin tone that feels devoid of life, and wings shaded deeply in blues and purples.
Even the details of her provocative pose are pursued with a unique expression.
The special base evokes the strange dimension of the Eclipse. On its back stands an astral body that uses a troll’s entrails as a vessel, recalling the Qliphoth episode and Slan’s obsession with Guts.
The DX Bonus Version also adds Ubik as a special part. This cunning God Hand member returns with evolved sculpting and paintwork. Display him beside Slan to create an even more despairing scene.
The DX Bonus Version further includes a rotating base, allowing fans to appreciate the craftsmanship lavished on every part of her form from all angles.
Imaginatively constructed, this is an alluring vision of otherworldly beauty. The DX Bonus Version is set to join Berserk collections, with preorders starting September 25 and release scheduled for February through May 2028.
