About Tokyo Revengers
This is the popular time-leap suspense series Tokyo Manji Revengers by Wakui Ken, which captivated readers during its serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine from 2017 to 2022. The story follows Hanagaki Takemichi, a former delinquent whose life peaked in middle school. After the tragic death of his only girlfriend from his middle school days, he unexpectedly time-leaps 12 years into the past, embarking on a determined journey to redo his life and save those he cares about.
The series was adapted into a TV anime titled Tokyo Revengers in 2021, quickly gaining a massive following. Its second season, the “Seiya Kessen-hen” (Christmas Showdown Arc), and third season, the “Tenjiku-hen” (Tenjiku Arc), were both broadcast in 2023. Fans can also look forward to more action, as the production of a sequel, the “Santen Senso-hen” (Three Deities Arc), has already been announced!
Furthermore, an official spin-off series, Tokyo Manji Revengers ~Baji Keisuke Kara no Tegami~, featuring artwork by Natsukawaguchi Yukinori, was serialized on Magazine Pocket, the official Weekly Shounen Magazine app, concluding its run on April 14, 2025.
