Haikyuu!! and Ootoya return for a second collaboration
The second collaboration between the anime Haikyuu!! and restaurant chain Ootoya will run from October 8 to November 23, 2026. Titled ‘Ootoya x Haikyuu!!: Jidai o Tsukuru, Uketsugu Shoubu Meshi!!’, the event features six second-year characters: Nishinoya Yuu from Karasuno High School, Kozume Kenma from Nekoma High School, Futakuchi Kenji from Datekougyou High School, Akaashi Keiji from Fukuroudani Gakuen High School, Miya Atsumu from Inarizaki High School, and Hoshiumi Kourai from Kamomedai High School.
Haikyuu!! is based on Furudate Haruichi’s volleyball manga. It ran in Shuueisha’s Shuukan Shounen Jump from February 2012 for eight and a half years, and the comic series has surpassed 75 million copies in cumulative circulation. The TV anime began in 2014, and in 2024, Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Gomisuteba no Kessen was released. Production has also been decided for the sequel film Gekijouban Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin and the special anime Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yuku Tokoro.
First-wave set meals and hologram postcards
From October 8 to October 28, three first-wave collaboration set meals will be available. Each is priced at 1,880 yen, tax included. Every order of one first-wave collaboration set meal comes with one randomly selected collaboration original hologram postcard. There are six types in total.

From October 29 to November 23, the second-wave collaboration set meals will be sold. Each is priced at 1,880 yen, tax included. Every order comes with one randomly selected collaboration original sticker. There are six types in total.

A dessert plate will also be available throughout the collaboration: ‘Shushou no Sashiire Dessert Plate’ (Captain’s Treat Dessert Plate), priced at 680 yen, tax included. Orders come with one randomly selected captain-design sticker.
Original collaboration goods
The collaboration-limited goods include acrylic stands using original art (six types, 1,650 yen each), trading hologram can badges (six types, 550 yen each), trading ladle and miso soup two-piece acrylic charms (six types, 880 yen each), a clear file (660 yen), and a rice pouch with acrylic charm (2,970 yen). The goods will also be sold on an EC site from October 8 at 12:00 to November 24 at 10:00.
Store displays and fan campaigns
Some stores will feature character panels, wall decorations, and glass decorations. At the Aeon Mall Sendai Kamisugi store, character panels and wall decorations for Nishinoya Yuu, Kozume Kenma, and Futakuchi Kenji will appear. At the Namba SkyO store, glass decorations designed with all six characters will be on display.
Ootoya’s official X account will also hold a campaign: follow the account and repost the target post for a chance to win a collaboration original BIG acrylic stand six-type set. Ten winners will be chosen by lottery. The Ootoya official app will distribute a Haikyuu!!-design free large rice coupon.
A promotional video featuring Nishinoya Yuu’s voice, voiced by Okamoto Nobuhiko, will also be released. The second Haikyuu!! x Ootoya collaboration lets fans enjoy ‘shoubu meshi’ with six second-year characters.
