The upcoming TV anime Ghost in the Shell: THE GHOST IN THE SHELL is set to premiere on July 7, 2026, and ahead of that, Amazon’s on-demand print service Amazon Merch on Demand has launched a line of exclusive official apparel and goods featuring designs from the series.

Based on Shirow Masamune’s original manga that began serialization in 1989, the Ghost in the Shell franchise is a cyberpunk action series following Major Motoko Kusanagi, a full-body cyborg who leads the elite Section 9 team against increasingly complex cybercrimes. The series has explored themes of human-technology fusion and identity through various anime films, TV series, and a Hollywood live-action adaptation.
The new TV anime is directed by Moko-chan, making his directorial debut after serving as assistant director on Dandadan and working on numerous Science SARU productions. Series composition and script are handled by EnJoe Toh, the SF novelist known for Self-Reference ENGINE and the TV anime Godzilla S.P. Character design and chief animation direction are by Handa Shuhei, who worked on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and Spriggan. Animation production is by Science SARU, the studio behind acclaimed works such as Inu-Oh (nominated for a Golden Globe), The Colors Within (winner of the Golden Goblet at Shanghai International Film Festival), and Dandadan.
The exclusive merchandise lineup includes T-shirts, pullover hoodies, and smartphone cases featuring striking graphics of Major Motoko Kusanagi, the AI-equipped Fuchikoma, Batou, the Puppet Master, and other motifs. Designs include “Collage,” “Motoko,” “Batou,” “PuppetMaster,” “Fuchikoma,” “Cyborg,” and “MotokoFuchikoma.”

The items are available in a variety of sizes and models. T-shirts come in white and black, in men’s XS to 3XL and women’s M and L, priced at 3,640 yen. Pullover hoodies are in black, same size range, priced at 5,930 yen. Smartphone cases are priced at 2,950 yen. All items are scheduled for sale starting June 24.
