The official Kidou Keiji Patlabor HEADGEAR shop hosted on Amazon is now taking post-sale orders for merchandise originally sold at events held from spring through summer 2026, as well as theatrical goods for the new anime Kidou Keiji Patlabor EZY. The selection includes sale and warehouse-release items, and purchases of 5,000 yen or more including tax come with a bonus.
HEADGEAR+ Exhibition and Event Goods Return
Kidou Keiji Patlabor began in April 1988 as a six-episode OVA. It was created as a media-mix project by the creator group HEADGEAR, formed by manga artist Yuuki Masami, mechanical designer Izubuchi Yutaka, screenwriter Ito Kazunori, character designer Takada Akemi, and director Oshii Mamoru.
The series follows members of Special Vehicles Section 2 as they pilot robots called Ingrams and confront criminals, with a tone that shifts between comedy and serious drama. OVA, theatrical, comic, and TV anime entries became hits, and since May 2026 the new anime Kidou Keiji Patlabor EZY has been released theatrically in a structure of eight episodes across three chapters.
Among the post-sale line-up, goods from the HEADGEAR+ Exhibition (Abeno) include items from last summer’s Yurakucho exhibition and this spring’s Osaka exhibition.
Merchandise from the 1st Patlabor Exhibition in Wonder Festival 2026 Summer includes collaboration items with Hakoniwa Giken figreal, miniature figures in 1/48, 1/60, 1/150, and other scales, and a restock of the 1/150 Labor Carrier that sold out on the day.
Theatrical goods for Kidou Keiji Patlabor EZY File 1 and 2 are also available, with some exceptions.
Also offered are items from the Novel Sushi-ya no Gotou POP-UP Shop held in Shinjuku and Abeno, Shanghai-tei Curry, which has ranked second in Amazon’s curry rankings, and Tokusha Nikka Mai (Special Vehicles Section 2 Rice).
Sushi-ya no Gotou merchandise is part of the lineup.
For every 5,000 yen spent including tax and shipping, customers receive one Deformed Mech Sticker. Other designs may be available.
The post-sale run on the official shop is scheduled until the end of October. From October 9 to 18, a POP-UP shop at the 7th-floor event space of Kinshicho Marui in Tokyo will gather merchandise sold at various spring and summer events, giving fans a chance to see the items in person before buying.
