During the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online 2026 event, the staff for the television anime adaptation of Shirogane Tooru’s Himekishi-sama no Himo announced three additional cast members, a key visual, the theme songs, and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.

MYTH & ROID will perform the opening theme "TRUE-TABOO", which was previewed in the first promotional video. sajou no hana will perform the ending theme "Gika."
Light Novel and Manga Background
Shirogane Tooru began the action fantasy story under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2022, with illustrations by Mashima Saki. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on July 10.
A manga adaptation drawn by Key Yang began in September 2022. Its third and final volume was released on December 26, 2024.
Yamazaki Chihiro launched a sequel manga titled Himekishi-sama no Himo Act 2 on the same website in August 2025. Kadokawa released the first volume on January 27.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and the manga adaptation in 2023. The sixth light novel volume was released on August 11, while the third manga volume went on sale on January 6.
