The second cour of the fall anime Mahou no Shimai Rurutto Ririi has unveiled the synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 13, titled "Secret Message" (秘密のメッセージ). The episode is set to begin airing on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Mahou no Shimai Rurutto Ririi is the latest original TV anime in Studio Pierrot’s long-running Pierrot Magical Girl Series, which continues to be supported by many fans in Japan and overseas. The series is directed by Doukaki Shintarou, who also serves as character original designer. Tachibana Mei voices Nonomiyama Fuu and Konpeto Lily, while Ojika Nao voices Nonomiyama Nagare and Mashuuru Lulu. The first cour aired from April to June 2026, and the second cour begins in October.
The story follows two sisters: Fuu, an innocent elementary school student eager for summer vacation, and Nagare, a reserved but hardworking middle school student. They used to be close, but recently their hearts have grown distant. One day, Fuu encounters a mysterious spaceship and is granted magical power. At the same time, Nagare also obtains a wonderful magical power. Both transform into the adult figures they admire, but they are bound by two rules: the magic lasts only one year, and they must not reveal it to anyone. Eventually, the two begin working as idols without knowing each other’s secret.
Episode 13 "Secret Message" Synopsis
Nagare begins to suspect that Fuu might also be using magic, as Fuu’s and Lily’s appearances seem to overlap somehow. She decides to secretly follow Fuu. Around that time, a newcomer arrives at "Production One More."
Episode 13 of the second cour, "Secret Message," will air sequentially from October 4 (Sun) on TOKYO MX, ABC TV, TV Aichi, BS NTV, and AT-X.
