The fall anime Chii Fuyo has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for its first episode, which begins airing on October 6, 2026 (Tuesday) on the TV Tokyo network.
The episode is titled I Think Everyone Has Times When Nothing Goes Well, and When That Happens, What Do I Do? It’s Decided: I Just Run While Screaming, Aaaaaaah! (Japanese title: 「何も上手くいかない時って誰だってあると思うんだけどそんな時俺はどうするかって？決まってるさただひたすらに叫びながら走るんだよおああああッ！」).
The series, also known by its long title Tsuihou Sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life o Ouka Suru. ~Ore wa Buki Dake Janaku, Arayuru Mono ni ‘Kyouka Point’ o Fuyo Dekiru shi, Ore no Ishi de Itsudemo Kouka o Kaijo Dekiru kedo, Nokotta Hitotachi Daijoubu?~, is an isekai fantasy manga by Rikushima Asa, with art by Gyoumuyou Mochi and character draft by kisui. It is serialized on Kodansha’s Getsumaga Base and has surpassed 1.5 million copies in circulation.
Known for its addictive, chaotic gag comedy and emotionally charged character lines, the manga has drawn passionate support. The author has cautioned that the novel and manga versions are about 99 percent different.
Directed by Honma Osamu, the TV anime is produced by P.A.WORKS.
Episode 1 Synopsis
Rain, who works at the adventurer guild Ouju no Kiba, is an enhancement enchanter who can grant ‘Kyouka Point’ enhancement points to all kinds of things, including weapons and armor. However, guild master Balios’s whim suddenly gets him expelled from the guild.
Rain then cancels all the enhancement points he had granted to guild members’ weapons and armor and decides to use those points to begin a second life as an adventurer.
While searching for a new guild, Rain meets receptionist Nina and guild master Elsie and chooses to join the adventurer guild Ao no Suishou. Together with Lily, an S-rank adventurer who also belongs to Ao no Suishou, he heads out to subdue a dragon—but what awaits them?
