TV Anime Adaptation Set for 2027
Aniplex has opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Kokamumo‘s NullMeta manga, revealing the main staff and a teaser visual.
Soigne, the animation studio behind Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana and Mono, is producing the anime. It is set to premiere in 2027.

Ikarashi Kai is also directing the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime series, which is set to premiere on October 20.
Manga Background
Kokamumo began serializing the 4-koma comedy manga in Manga Time Kirara MAX magazine in December 2019. Houbunsha published the sixth volume on January 27.
The manga originated from web comics posted on the author’s Tumblr and Pixiv accounts in April 2018. It was later self-published on Niconico Seiga in September 2018. The web version and the magazine serialization feature some differences in their settings and chronology.
Synopsis
Kurumi is an android who isn’t very bright. Her guardian, Chiaki, is a bit of a lunatic, and the two go through high school alongside Sakina and Shiyuki. Sakina is cool and composed until something sets her off laughing, which doesn’t take much. Shiyuki is the only sane one (maybe), and the question mark is doing a lot of work there.
Their days are mostly nothing in particular. They upgrade Kurumi, fuss over her like a pet, and chat about whatever comes up.
