Bandai Namco Experience has revealed a new Tamagotchi prize lineup featuring Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi, Young Mimitchi, and Mametchi in original art for the autumn-themed Tama Farm Harvest Festival. A digital pet that keeps evolving
Tamagotchi first launched in November 1996 as Bandai’s digital pet and sparked a major boom, especially among high school girls. It returned in 2004 as Kaettekita! Tamagotchi Plus with infrared communication, and the series has continued to expand worldwide with new play features. By the end of July 2025, cumulative shipments had reached 100 million units worldwide.
In July 2025, Tamagotchi Paradise launched worldwide with a new zoom dial, allowing owners to care for their pets at four scales, from the cellular level to the cosmic scale. Nearly 30 years after its debut, the franchise continues to resonate with longtime fans while attracting new generations.
