“Chainsaw Man”: Reze, Bomb, Makima, and More Dramatically Designed! glamb Collaboration Features Hoodies, MA-1, and Other Items
The theatrical anime film *Chainsaw Man Reze-hen* is collaborating with glamb. Eight unique items, available in three unisex sizes, are set to be released.
*Chainsaw Man* is a manga by the genius Fujimoto Tatsuki, known for creating hit works like *Fire Punch*, *Look Back*, and *Sayonara Eri*, and is currently serialized in “Shonen Jump+”. The series has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation. In 2022, a TV anime adaptation, produced by MAPPA, the animation studio behind *Jujutsu Kaisen* and *Attack on Titan The Final Season*, was broadcast. The series has garnered high praise not only in Japan but also worldwide, being distributed in over 200 countries and regions.
The highly anticipated theatrical film *Chainsaw Man Reze-hen* picks up directly from the TV anime’s finale, adapting the popular “Reze-hen” arc into a movie, which opened nationwide on September 19th. The story follows protagonist Denji as he is swayed by a chance encounter with the mysterious girl, Reze, and hurtles toward an unpredictable fate, all depicted with MAPPA’s signature fast-paced battle action.
The key item in this collaboration is the captivating Reze Hoodie, featuring a dramatic visual of Reze surrounded by flowers on the back print. Elegant lettering adds a lyrical mood to the design. The front, in quiet contrast, features a subtle, photographic-style print of a single flower on the chest, creating a balanced aesthetic for the garment.
The Bomb Bomber Jacket ingeniously merges the character Bomb with an MA-1 style, creating a sharp military look. Bomb is dramatically depicted through punkish collage art on the back, exuding a sense of vandalism. In contrast to the impactful back, the front is minimal with a single accent, making it easy to style.
The Denji T-shirt II showcases a passionate artwork inspired by the protagonist Denji. The front features a graphic reminiscent of art brut or outsider art, expressing layered depth through primitive mural art techniques like spray paint and collage.
The Chainsaw Man Cutsew projects the image of Chainsaw Man onto a long-sleeve T-shirt, utilizing a glamb-arranged illustration. Its charm lies in the striking contrast between hardcore motifs and the delicate, watercolor-like touch. Crack effects are added to give it a seasoned, vintage impression.
The Beam T-shirt features Beam, Denji’s companion in the story, in a powerful, hardcore graphic captured from a frontal perspective. Heavy metal-style logo treatment further emphasizes this intense vibe.
The Aki & Angel Devil Shirt stylishly places Hayakawa Aki on the right body and Angel Devil on the left, rendered in a monochrome, outsider-art-like aesthetic. Avant-garde and stoic typography complete the design, giving it a chic and sophisticated feel.
