*Kusuriya no Hitorigoto*, also known as *The Apothecary Diaries*, is an incredibly popular mystery-solving entertainment series set in the intricate world of the imperial harem. It follows a young girl, Maomao, who serves as a “poison taster” and unravels various complex incidents. The series has amassed over 40 million copies in circulation, a testament to its widespread appeal.
The TV anime’s second season, which premiered in January 2025, consistently ranked at the top of various streaming platforms.
