Comments from the Cast and Artist
Kataoka Rin (as Mikura Fuyu)

This was my first time doing voice acting, and it was a fresh and enjoyable experience to react more expressively than in front of a camera to convey emotions to the audience. Since the voice you actually produce and the voice people hear are slightly different, during recording, I always focused on finding a tone that would best communicate what I wanted to express and convey.
I read books often myself, so I was drawn into the story of the protagonist literally entering the world of books. It’s a wonderful work filled with colorful worlds and encounters with various characters. Please do watch it!
Tamaki Sora (as Mashiro)

I am Tamaki Sora, playing the role of Mashiro.
Mashiro is a very charming girl who combines cuteness with coolness.
I am truly happy to have been entrusted with the voice of Mashiro, a character cherished by Fukamidorisensei and many others.
Voice acting is my first challenge, but I poured my heart into playing Mashiro, hoping to convey even a little bit of her brilliance to everyone.
In this theatrical anime, the magnificent story, beautiful visuals, and soothing sounds will surely intertwine to portray the world of this work even more vividly.
I hope you will experience this slightly mysterious and heartwarming world in theaters.
YUKI (Theme Song Artist)

When I read a book, I get the sensation of being drawn into that world and unable to leave. I become curious about what happens next and want to return to that world. When I received the offer for the theme song and read through the story, I embarked on a grand adventure alongside Fuyu, Mashiro, and everyone in Yomichou (Reader’s Town). There’s a phrase, “escaping reality,” but I think listening to music is similar to the experience of reading. I created “Share” with the hope that even if people can’t understand each other 100%, they can become friends by sharing a single ray of intersecting light. I would be thrilled if I could share the adventure of immersing oneself in music with this song. Please listen to it at the cinema.
