Get ready for a treat, as it has now been officially announced that Miyata Toshiya of the popular group Kis-My-Ft2 will be gracing the event as a special guest on October 25th. Miyata-san is preparing to unveil an original character cosplay, which he will proudly showcase on the event’s runway!

Affectionately known as “IkeHallow,” Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fes stands as Japan’s premier Halloween celebration. Set in Ikebukuro, a beloved mecca for anime fans, this grand event draws in countless cosplayers and photographers. The entire Ikebukuro district transforms into a lively hub where visitors can enjoy captivating stage performances, dazzling parades, intriguing exhibition booths, and a myriad of other festivities amidst a sea of creatively costumed participants.

Miyata-san’s upcoming appearance as a special guest marks his very first time participating in “IkeHallow,” making this year’s event particularly special! He is scheduled to grace the main stage at Naka-Ikebukuro Park for a “Special Ceremony” starting at 1:45 PM on October 25th. During this ceremony, he will unveil and showcase the original character cosplay that was previously featured on the cover of the October 2025 issue of the cosplay information magazine, COSPLAY MODE. Adding to the excitement, Miyata-san is also slated to participate in the highly anticipated “Nico Nico Cosplection” event, beginning at 4:00 PM on the same stage. This popular segment invites attending cosplayers to flaunt their meticulously crafted costumes on a dynamic runway.
