With this in mind, Anime! Anime! conducted a reader survey titled “What is your life’s best anime?” The survey ran from October 11th to October 16th and garnered 705 responses. The gender breakdown was approximately 45 percent male and 55 percent female, showing a slight majority of female participants. The age demographic was largely young, with about 45 percent of respondents being 19 years old or younger. This article presents the top three anime for each age group.
