Sousou no Frieren x HIS: Optional Tours & Laguna Ten Bosch Event Announced!

A grand collaboration project has been announced, bringing together the beloved TV anime *Sousou no Frieren* with four companies from the HIS Group: H.I.S., H.I.S. Hotel Holdings, Kyuushuu Sankou Holdings, and Laguna Ten Bosch. This extensive collaboration promises a variety of exciting experiences for fans across Japan.
About Sousou no Frieren
Sousou no Frieren is a captivating manga series currently serialized in Shounen Sunday, penned by Yamada Kanato and illustrated by Abe Tsukasa. The story transports readers to a world *after* the Demon King has been defeated by the hero and his party. It follows the journey of Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years and was a member of that very hero’s party. Her new adventures unfold as she meets new people and learns to understand humanity and life through their eyes.
The series has garnered a massive following thanks to its unique timeline, taking place “after the Demon King’s defeat,” and its deeply moving drama, memorable dialogue, thrilling battles involving magic and swords, and even touches of unexpected humor. The characters’ intertwined narratives have resonated with many readers, pushing the comic series past an impressive 30 million copies in worldwide circulation, and its popularity continues to soar!
Madhouse, a renowned animation studio, brought this incredible manga to life as a TV anime, with its first season airing from September 2023 to March 2024. Fans can mark their calendars for the highly anticipated second season, set to begin on January 16, 2026, which will adapt the story from Chapter 61 onwards, found in the seventh volume of the original manga.
Exciting Collaborations with HIS
As part of this major collaboration with the four HIS Group companies, H.I.S. is launching special optional tours from December 1st, allowing fans to embark on journeys alongside Frieren and her companions. The booking period for eligible products is from December 1, 2025, to May 10, 2026, with tours operating from February 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026.
Okinawa Digital Stamp Rally
The “Okinawa Digital Stamp Rally” invites participants to explore designated spots across Okinawa. For a participation fee of 2,000 yen (tax included), you’ll receive an original digital photo frame (1 type) and a random sticker (6 types total) at each location. This stamp rally is available for those booking Okinawa Main Island tours, flight + hotel packages, flights, or hotel stays through HIS.
Furthermore, exciting original gifts are prepared based on the number of points collected:
- 1 Point: Exclusive wallpaper image (1 type)
- 2 Points: A complete set of all 6 stickers
- 5 Points: A clear multi-case (1 type)
Bus Tour Optional Tour
For an additional 1,000 yen (tax included) when booking bus tours, participants can enjoy a special “Bus Tour Optional Tour.” This includes receiving an exclusive original acrylic keychain (2 types) and a postcard with a photo frame (1 type). These tours are scheduled to run from February 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026.

From November 18th, H.I.S. Hotel Holdings has opened reservations for exclusive *Sousou no Frieren* collaboration rooms at 11 of its “Henna Hotel” properties and “Henna Resort & Spa Kansai Kuukou” locations nationwide.
These special collaboration rooms feature custom-designed illustrations adorning the entire guest room, immersing you completely in the world of Frieren. As a delightful bonus, guests will also receive an exclusive clear file and postcard from the hotel.

Specifically, at the Henna Hotel Laguna Ten Bosch, guests can choose from four distinct room types: “Frieren Room,” “Himmel Room,” “Stark Room,” and “Fern Room.” Each room is decorated with six original mini-character panels unique to Laguna Ten Bosch, along with a life-sized character panel for each room’s theme.
Staying in these themed rooms offers fantastic perks, including a one-day admission ticket to Lagunasia theme park, a voucher for the in-park riddle-solving rally “Laguna Boukentan Madousho no Nazo,” and exclusive recorded voice lines from Frieren herself! These special collaboration rooms are available for stays with check-in from January 9, 2026, until check-out on May 11, 2026. Prices for these themed rooms start from 29,800 yen per room per night (tax and service charge included) with breakfast.
Adventures in Kumamoto with Kyuushuu Sankou Holdings
Kyuushuu Sankou Holdings is rolling out exciting initiatives from January 16, 2026, to May 10, 2026, in Kumamoto!
Original Design Wrapping Bus
An original design wrapping bus featuring *Sousou no Frieren* characters will operate between Aso Kumamoto Kuukou and Kumamoto City. This bus will run as an airport limousine service, managed by Kyuushuu Sankou Bus. Please note that there might be instances where the bus cannot operate due to vehicle maintenance during the period.
Day Trip Tours and Pop-up Shop
Additionally, from January to May 2026, day trip tours are planned to explore scenic spots in Misato-machi, Kamimashiki-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, utilizing this special wrapping bus. Tour reservations are expected to open in December 2025, with further details to be announced later on the Kyuushuu Sankou Tourism official website.
Furthermore, the commercial facility “Sakuramachi Kumamoto” will host a *Sousou no Frieren* pop-up shop from mid-January to March 8, 2026. Located on the 2nd floor event space, this shop will offer exclusive merchandise featuring mini-characters designed with Kumamoto motifs, alongside exciting photo spots for fans to enjoy.
Unravel Mysteries at Laguna Ten Bosch
Laguna Ten Bosch is hosting a special collaboration event, “Umibe no Machi Laguna Boukentan” (Laguna Adventure Tale of the Seaside Town), from January 10, 2026, to May 10, 2026.
Riddle-Solving Rally: Laguna Boukentan Madousho no Nazo
Participants can dive into the “Laguna Boukentan Madousho no Nazo” (Laguna Adventure Tale: Mystery of the Grimoire) riddle-solving rally, which takes them on a journey through the park. To unlock the “Sealed Door,” participants must solve a series of mysteries presented on stone tablets (problem panels) scattered throughout the park, collecting fragments of a spell.
Once all the stone tablets have been visited and the goal reached, the “Sealed Door” will open! As a clear reward, participants will receive an original clear file (6 random types). The participation fee for this thrilling rally is 600 yen (tax included) per attempt.
In addition to the rally, the park will feature life-sized panels of Frieren and her companions, creating fantastic photo opportunities. Guests can also look forward to enjoying limited-edition collaboration food and merchandise available exclusively at Laguna Ten Bosch.
