Anime! Anime! will conduct a reader survey titled “What are your favorite Denpa Songs and Moe Songs anime songs?”. The deadline is May 26th.
What is Denpa Day?
June 1st is “Denpa Day” (Radio Wave Day).
It was established to commemorate the enforcement of the “Radio Waves Three Laws” – the Radio Waves Act, the Broadcasting Act, and the Radio Regulatory Commission Establishment Act – on the same day in 1950, opening up the use of radio waves to the public.
Exploring Denpa and Moe Anime Songs
Among anime songs, there’s a genre often referred to as “Denpa Song”. They are characterized by catchy melodies that stick in your ears, high-tension lyrics that use a lot of wordplay, and adorable singing voices that make you feel moe for the characters. Many of these songs are so addictive you can’t stop listening after hearing them just once. Their definition varies, and part of their charm is that people perceive them differently.

Therefore, Anime! Anime! will conduct a reader survey titled “What are your favorite Denpa Songs and Moe Songs anime songs?”. In a free-response format, please tell us the song and the title of the work you think fits.
*Eligible songs for answering include OP & ED theme songs, insert songs, in-show songs, image songs, and character songs (including songs by idols born from anime works, etc.) from anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVA, etc.).
*Please answer only once per person.
