June 6th is “Fear Day.”

This memorial day originates from the number “666” found in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Historically, “666” has been regarded as the number of the beast and a symbol of the devil.

Taking this day connected to “evil” as a prompt, this time we are shining a spotlight on “Villainess” characters! While Villainesses in the past often appeared as haughty rivals who obstructed the protagonist’s romantic endeavors, their portrayals have become increasingly diverse in recent years.

Whether they are chosen as the main character of the story, are actually kind-hearted and simply misunderstood, or serve as figures who support the protagonist’s growth, their appeal continues to expand!
