Synopsis
From the Galactic Federation’s planet Tooro, an alien known as “Experiment 626” (voiced by Chris Sanders / Yamadera Kouichi) escapes. This highly intelligent, violent alien, capable of destroying anything it touches, was a new life form created through genetic manipulation by scientist Doctor Jumba (voiced by David Ogden Stiers / Iizuka Shouzo).
To pursue “626,” who crash-landed on Earth’s Kauai Island in Hawaii, the Galactic Federation dispatches Doctor Jumba and agent Pleakley (voiced by Kevin McDonald / Mitsuya Yuuji).
Five-year-old Lilo (voiced by Daveigh Chase / Yamashita Natsuki), who lives with her older sister Nani (voiced by Tia Carrere / Tabata Tomoko) after losing their parents, is always alone as she doesn’t fit in with her friends.
Nani takes Lilo to an animal shelter to get a puppy, but who Lilo picks there is none other than “626”! Named Stitch, he initially causes trouble, but through his interactions with Lilo, he gradually starts to become a good boy.
Having grown tired of Jumba and Pleakley’s inability to capture Stitch, the Grand Councilwoman of the Galactic Federation (voiced by Zoe Caldwell / Tani Ikuko) sends Stitch’s rival and military captain, Gantu (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson / Ishizuka Unsyo), to Earth…

Stitch
Known as Experiment 626, created by the Galactic Federation’s genius scientist Jumba.
A violent alien who doesn’t know love and breaks everything he touches. He gradually changes through living with Lilo. His weakness is water.
Lilo
A 5-year-old girl living with her sister on Kauai Island in Hawaii. Perhaps due to her overly rich imagination, she doesn’t fit in with friends and is always alone.
Her hobbies are hula dancing and taking pictures of tourists. She’s a big fan of Elvis Presley.
Doctor Jumba
The genius scientist who created Stitch. He came to Earth to capture Stitch, who escaped from space, and hunts him down using the latest weaponry.
Pleakley
A one-eyed alien. He followed Doctor Jumba to pursue Stitch. He knows a lot about Earth, its humans, and animals. He dislikes conflict and is timid.
Nani
Lilo’s kind older sister. She is raising Lilo in place of their deceased parents. She can be strict with Lilo when she doesn’t listen, but she truly cares about Lilo the most.
