Journalist

Sudou Tadashi

Journalist, Specially Appointed Professor at the Entertainment Business Research Institute, Japan Keizai University Graduate School. Born in Mexico, raised in Yokohama. After working at a securities company, he founded the information website “Anime! Anime!” in 2004 and the animation business information website “Anime! Anime! Biz” in 2009, serving as editor-in-chief. He left “Anime! Anime!” in July 2016 to become independent. He currently operates “Animation Business Journal”. His major works include writing the animation sections for the “Digital Contents Hakusho” and the “Anime Industry Report”. He was involved in the launch of the Niigata International Animation Film Festival and will serve as the Artistic Director for the “Aichi-Nagoya International Animation Film Festival” starting in 2025.
