Oshi no Ko: Mysterious Aqua, Ruby, Arima Kana, MEM Cho Make Hearts Race… Mini Characters with Doggies Also Appear

Oshi no Ko is based on the hugely popular manga by Akasaka Aka, known for Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and Yokoyari Mengo, known for Kuzu no Honkai. This groundbreaking series offers a completely fresh perspective on the entertainment industry. The story begins when Gorou, an obstetrician working in a rural town, meets his “oshi” (favorite idol), Ai of “B Komachi”. This encounter sets in motion a unique and intricate fate, layered with mystery elements, which captivated readers from its very first chapters. The original manga concluded its run with chapter 166, published in the 50th issue of “Weekly Young Jump” on November 14, 2024.

The TV anime first season premiered in April 2023. The second season, which began airing on July 3, 2024, focuses on the story of Aqua, Arima Kana, and Kurokawa Akane as they participate in a 2.5D stage play based on the in-universe work “Tokyo Blade”. The production of a third season has also been decided, much to the excitement of fans.

This special event brings Aqua, Ruby, Arima Kana, and MEMcho to Sakae Loft, Tenjin Loft, Sendai Loft, Umeda Loft, and Shibuya Loft. The “TV anime Oshi no Ko POP UP STORE in Loft ～CUTE＆MYSTERIOUS～” will feature large panels displaying the four characters from the main visual, as well as mini-character panels illustrated with the theme “Together with Dogs”. These displays offer fantastic opportunities for fans to take memorable photos.

The event-exclusive original merchandise lineup includes classic items like the “Acrylic Stand” featuring the event’s main visual. Additionally, goods based on the adorable mini-characters will be available. These illustrations capture the characters enjoying an off-day, imagining moments like hugging or going for a walk with their canine companions.

The diverse range of products includes a “Muffler Towel,” “Trading Onamae Badge,” and a “Rock Glass,” among other exciting items for fans to collect.

“TV anime Oshi no Ko POP UP STORE in Loft ～CUTE＆MYSTERIOUS～” is, starting with Sakae Loft (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) on July 1st, followed by Tenjin Loft (Fukuoka City), Sendai Loft (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture), Umeda Loft (Osaka City), and Shibuya Loft (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).

As a special bonus, customers who purchase 2,000 JPY (including tax) or more at the venue will receive one random “Illustration Card” (total of 6 types) featuring the newly drawn artwork.
