Exploring the Source Material
The anime is based on the popular action comedy manga by Suzuki Yuuto. The series originally started as a one-shot in Jump GIGA back in December 2019 before beginning its regular serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine in November 2020. In Japan, Shueisha published the 22nd volume of the manga on June 4.
