About Sousou no Frieren
Based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito with art by Abe Tsukasa, the TV anime *Sousou no Frieren* first premiered in September 2023. This critically acclaimed series is set in a world *after* the Demon King has been defeated by a party of heroes. It follows Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on a journey to understand humanity after the passing of Himmel, the hero with whom she once defeated the Demon King.
The series quickly gained immense popularity for its unique premise, portraying a world in the aftermath of a grand adventure. Its charm lies in the delightful, often comedic, interactions between characters, beautifully balanced with intense and serious combat scenes involving magic and swordsmanship.
