“Kusuriya no Hitorigoto”: Jinshi’s Thoughtful Face is Lovely, and Maomao Turns into a Night Light! Sitting Figures Appear

From Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, “Mini Sitting Pose Figures” of Maomao and Jinshi, as well as a “Night Light” of Maomao sleeping while sitting, are now available. They are currently open for pre-order on the hobby retail site, AmiAmi.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a palace mystery entertainment series based on the novel by Hyuuga Natsu, published under “Hero Bunko.” It has also been adapted into manga serialized in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX,” with the series surpassing a cumulative 40 million copies sold. Set in a medieval Eastern land, it depicts the story of Maomao, a young girl working as a “poison taster,” as she solves various difficult cases occurring within the palace.

The TV anime second season, which began broadcasting in January 2025, has attracted attention, consistently ranking high on various streaming platforms, and its second cour started in April. Furthermore, the first-ever exhibition for the TV anime, “TV Anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Exhibition,” is currently touring, and a collaboration event at Universal Studios Japan is planned for this summer, keeping the excitement going.

Mini Sitting Pose Figures Feature Jinshi and Maomao

Among the items currently available for pre-order are the “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto – Figu-Sit – Finished Figures.” These are mini sitting pose figures of Maomao and Jinshi, featuring an adorable big head design that enhances their charm.

One might wonder what kind of medicine the focused Maomao is trying to make, or what the contemplative Jinshi is thinking. Displaying them together is sure to spark even more imagination.

Also available is the “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto – Night Light – Maomao.” This night light features Maomao looking adorable as she sleeps while sitting up.
