Hear what the creative team and producer have to say about the upcoming anime!
Dr. Poro (Original Story)
An anime adaptation! This is all thanks to everyone who has supported us! Please enjoy watching Per and the others moving dynamically on the screen! I’ll keep working hard to create even more exciting developments in the future!
Naba Nabana (Manga)
Gratitude! So much gratitude! I believe both those who discovered *Shu Iro no Kamen* through the manga and those who will discover it through the anime will be able to enjoy it! I’m also incredibly thankful that everyone involved in the production is putting so much love into it! I’d be thrilled if everyone enjoys *Shu Iro no Kamen* together! Yoropiku (a casual way of saying please)!
Watanabe Tetumei (Director)
I am Watanabe Tetumei, and I will be serving as the director for this project. I absolutely love the original *Shu Iro no Kamen* and desperately wanted to bring it to anime myself, so I pushed hard to discuss the project with 100studio, and we were able to make it happen. Thank you to everyone involved! The concept of wearing masks to gain various abilities is uniquely interesting compared to other works, and the story constantly keeps you wondering what will happen next. There are so many highlights, including the drama unfolding around each mask, the characters’ intentions, their struggles, and their strategies. As a reader and fan myself, I’ve been following the original manga all along! Furthermore, for the anime version, the original authors, Dr. Poro and Naba Nabana-sensei, participated in the meetings from the series composition and script stages, allowing us to have close exchanges. The content is designed for everyone to enjoy, whether you’ve read the manga or not. The production team, mainly consisting of young but talented staff, is putting their full passion into the production! (Most of the staff are big fans of the original manga, lol!) Please look forward to Per and his companions’ grand adventure surrounding the masks!!
Nakata Hiroya (Producer, Yomiuri Television)
When I first read the original manga, I remember feeling an incredible sense of excitement and immediately contacting Shonen Gahosha-san. We can finally announce the anime adaptation! Please look forward to the staff team, composed of young talents.
