Anime Adaptation Announced for “99-kai Danzai sareta Loop Reijou desu ga Konse wa “Chouzetsu Aisare Mode” desu tte!? Shin no Chikara ni Mezamete Hajimaru 100-kaime no Jinsei” Light Novel!
Exciting news for fans of looping heroines and dramatic fantasy! During the Drecom Industry panel at Anime Expo 2025, it was officially announced that the popular light novel series, **99-kai Danzai sareta Loop Reijou desu ga Konse wa “Chouzetsu Aisare Mode” desu tte!? Shin no Chikara ni Mezamete Hajimaru 100-kaime no Jinsei**, is getting an anime adaptation! This series is also known by its English title, *The 100th Time’s the Charm: She Was Executed 99 Times, So How Did She Unlock “Super Love” Mode?!*.
About the Original Series
The story originates from the creative mind of Yuuji Yuuji, who first began sharing the romance fantasy tale on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website back in May 2022. The published light novel version, featuring stunning illustrations by Nami Hidaka, is released under the DRE Novels imprint by Drecom Media. The first volume hit shelves in October 2022, with the third volume following in September 2024.
Fans looking for a visual adaptation can also dive into the manga series, which is illustrated by Roharu Kai and published on the DRE Comics website. The manga adaptation started in June 2023. As of February 20, the fourth manga volume is available, and the fifth volume is set to release on August 20.
For readers outside Japan, J-Novel Club holds the English license for both the light novel and manga. They began releasing the digital English light novel volumes in January 2023, with the third volume becoming available on April 18. The English manga joined the lineup in May 2024; the third volume was released on February 19, and the fourth volume is scheduled for August 6.

What’s the Story About?
The premise follows Alphina, a young woman who finds herself trapped in a cruel cycle. Falsely accused of plotting to assassinate Saint Debonaire, Alphina is executed time and time again. Every time she meets her end for a crime she didn’t commit, time rewinds, sending her back to face the same, inevitable fate ninety-nine times in a row – death by decapitation.
However, everything changes on the hundredth loop. Just as she prepares herself for yet another execution, Alphina discovers a brand new ability: she can hear people’s *true* feelings. To her utter astonishment, she learns that everyone secretly loves her! Armed with this newfound power, Alphina now has a chance to break the loop and finally sidestep her grim fate at the guillotine. Can she use the revelation of everyone’s hidden affection to change her destiny?
