About Necronomiko no Cosmic Horror Show

Necronomiko no Cosmic Horror Show is an original TV anime from Cygames, set in the world of VR gaming. It follows the story of ライバー (raibaa – streamers/VTubers) navigating a bizarre situation. Kurono Miko, a struggling, bottom-tier streamer, is in despair. Popular streamers have mysteriously lost consciousness during live broadcasts recently, and her own streaming partner, Maimizaka Mayu, has fallen victim and is hospitalized. Her viewership numbers are stagnant, offering no glimmer of hope.

Amidst this crisis, Miko receives an invitation to a new VR game called 「カダス」 (Kadasu). This turns out to be a death game orchestrated by the Elder Gods, like Cthulhu and others, who are plotting the destruction of humanity. With their own motivations hidden, can Miko and the other participants survive this inescapable battle? The terrifying cosmic horror show is about to begin.
