Based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito, with illustrations by Abe Tsukasa, the Sousou no Frieren TV anime first premiered in September 2023. The series garnered immense popularity, leading to a special screening in September 2024 to celebrate its first anniversary, where the production of a second season was announced!
