This extensive survey, conducted from September 19th to October 13th, gathered insights from 1,621 JOYSOUND users. It delved into questions concerning “the most supported artists and anime currently” and “oshi-katsu” (activities supporting one’s favorite character or idol) within karaoke rooms. The comprehensive findings have been released as “Oshi Katsu Real 2025” on a dedicated special page.

Anime and Game Division Ranking
In the highly competitive Anime and Game division, the massively popular rhythm and adventure game Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, which even saw a film adaptation this year, clinched the top spot! Securing second place was Ansanburu Sutaazu!!, followed by Touken Ranbu ONLINE in third. These titles continue to captivate fans with their engaging stories and beloved characters, fostering strong “oshi” communities.
Male Artist Division Ranking
In the Male Artist division, the nine-member idol group Snow Man impressively claimed first place. Their overwhelming performance power, coupled with their versatile activities across singing, dancing, and variety shows, has garnered widespread support from fans. Coming in second was Number_i, a group expanding their activities globally, while Mrs. GREEN APPLE, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, secured the third position.

Following closely in second place was the virtual idol Hoshimachi Suisei, with Nogizaka46 rounding out the top three.

The survey on “oshi-katsu” activities unveiled that a significant 59% of respondents who engage in “oshi-katsu” have experienced doing so at karaoke. The ways fans enjoy their beloved characters and idols in karaoke rooms are becoming increasingly diverse. Beyond just singing, activities include watching live performance videos, celebrating an “oshi’s” birthday with a “seitan-sai” (birthday celebration), and bringing merchandise for photo shoots.
