About Chibi Maruko-chan
`Chibi Maruko-chan` is a heartwarming series that joyfully, and sometimes wistfully, depicts the everyday life of third-grader Maruko-chan (Sakura Momoko) along with her family and friends. The original manga, which began serialization in “Ribon” magazine in 1986, has been compiled into 18 volumes. The TV anime adaptation started broadcasting in 1990 and remarkably achieved its 1500th episode in May 2022. It’s also been broadcast internationally, continuing to be cherished by people all over the world.
