It’s been announced that the special “LittleTwinStars Cafe” will be opening its doors to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sanrio’s beloved characters, LittleTwinStars! This “yumekawa☆cafe” themed experience, based on the fantastic world of Kiki and Lala, promises a wonderfully healing and heartwarming time for all visitors. The cafe will launch on December 11, 2025, in Tokyo, followed by openings in Aichi, Osaka, and Miyagi on December 18, 2025, each for a limited period.
Sanrio’s characters, LittleTwinStars, are twin siblings born on the Omoiyari Star in the Yume Nebula. They traveled from a distant star country with the grand goal of becoming magnificent, shining stars. The elder sister, Lala, is a little timid and prone to tears, while her younger brother, Kiki, is full of curiosity, a bit clumsy, and loves to play pranks. The year 2025 marks their monumental 50th anniversary, a testament to their enduring charm. This duo even secured an impressive 7th place in the “2025 Sanrio Character Awards” general ranking, showing just how much they are adored!
