Its immense popularity continues to grow, earning love from all generations and a remarkable three “Japan Character Grand Prix” awards.

The anime, which started airing in 2022, has also garnered significant global attention, with the total playback count for its YouTube catch-up distribution far exceeding 400 million. Recently, the exciting news of its first-ever movie adaptation, `Eiga Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu` (Chiikawa The Movie: The Secret of Mermaid Island), generated considerable buzz.
