Get ready, Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika fans! A special theme cafe, aptly named “Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika ～Girls Party～”, is officially opening its doors for a limited time. Starting December 18, 2025, in Tokyo, and December 25, 2025, in Osaka, this cafe promises a unique “Girls Party” concept, welcoming guests with a truly special atmosphere and hospitality.
The Phenomenon of Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika
For those unfamiliar, Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika is an original anime brought to life by the powerhouse creative team known as “Magica Quartet.” This dream team consists of director Shinbou Akiyuki, scriptwriter Urobuchi Gen (Nitroplus), original character designer Aoki Ume, and animation studio SHAFT. The story begins when ordinary middle school second-year student Kaname Madoka has an extraordinary encounter, plunging her into a tale of magical girls born from wishes.
The TV series, which first aired in 2011, captivated audiences with its unpredictable plot twists and highly original worldview. Since then, the series has expanded across various media, including a three-part theatrical film series, manga adaptations, novelizations, and games. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the long-awaited, completely new theatrical feature, Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika〈Walpurgis no Kaiten〉 (which can be translated as Theatrical Version Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magika: Walpurgisnacht Rising), slated for February 2026.
