Suda Masaki to Release His First Self-Produced EP Themed on “The Five Senses” Next January
Suda Masaki will release his first self-produced EP, *SENSATION CIRCLE*, on January 14, 2026. This complete concept work features six songs themed around “The Five Senses” and includes participation from his live band members. One-man live performances are scheduled for January 24 and 25, 2026, at the Tokyo Garden Theater.
Actor Suda Masaki, acclaimed for numerous awards in his acting career, is also a highly successful music artist. His previous hits include “Rurou no Katashiro,” the second cour opening theme for the TV anime *Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan-*, and “Niji,” the theme song for the movie *STAND BY ME Doraemon 2*, which has garnered over 400 million streams. Now, he is set to release his first-ever fully self-produced EP, *SENSATION CIRCLE*, on January 14, 2026, with pre-orders beginning today.
This ambitious new work is a complete concept album, delving into Suda Masaki’s inner self-expression through the theme of “The Five Senses” (Gokan). It explores the moments when one feels love, pain, or sudden solace—all against the backdrop of our fluctuating senses. This EP is an earnest endeavor, translating the fundamental idea that “to feel is to live” into music with Suda Masaki’s distinctive touch and sharp insight.
The EP features six tracks, structured to form a circular journey through the senses, including a nod to the “sixth sense”:

For the songwriting and sound production, Suda Masaki collaborated with his trusted live band members: Dr. Taihei, Ba. Ochi Shunsuke, Gt. Nishida Shuudai, and Key. Kudou Takuto (from OnoMatopel). Together with his musical comrades, he has crafted a truly “complete concept work” that directly reflects his current perceptions and impulses.
The EP will be available in two formats: a Complete Production Limited Edition and a Regular Edition. The Complete Production Limited Edition, priced at 12,000 yen (tax included), includes a special paint can BOX, an original T-shirt (one size), a compass with a strap, and the CD in a paper jacket. The Regular Edition, priced at 3,500 yen (tax included), is CD-only (initial pressings feature a bi-fold paper jacket).
