Dark Moon: Tsuki no Saidan Unveils New Cast, Staff, and More

The vampire fantasy anime Dark Moon: Tsuki no Saidan (also known as Dark Moon: The Blood Altar) has dropped a fresh batch of updates, including additional cast members, new staff details, theme song information, and its first promotional video. Fans won’t have to wait too long, as the series is set to premiere on January 10, 2026, airing on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma Television, and Tochigi Television at midnight.

Theme Songs Set the Mood

The audio landscape of Dark Moon: Tsuki no Saidan will be shaped by the K-pop group ENHYPHEN. They’re performing the opening theme “One In A Billion,” which gets a preview in the new promo, along with two ending themes: “CRIMINAL LOVE” and “Fatal Trouble.”

Production Background

Helming the anime at TROYCA is director Shiga Shouko (Hoshiai no Sora episode director). The series composition is handled by Machida Touko (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records), with character designs by Inomata Masami (Sasameki Koto). Music composition is by Chiba Naoki (Nisekoi).

The anime adapts the vampire fantasy webtoon created by HYBE and ENHYPHEN, which was serialized on Naver Webtoon from January 2022 to August 2023. Yen Press licensed the webtoon for English release, publishing the fifth and final volume in December 2024.
