Mark your calendars, because a collaboration that’s both powerful and moe is on the way! A special fair featuring Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie and beloved Sanrio Characters has been announced. The event will run from Sunday, February 1, 2026, at participating GEO stores nationwide and the anime/goods store “viviON BLUE.”
About the Jujutsu Kaisen Phenomenon
For the uninitiated, Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga series by Gege Akutami that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump from March 2018 to September 2025. The story revolves around the battle between Curses, born from human negative emotions, and the Jujutsu Sorcerers who exorcise them. It’s a global hit, with over 150 million copies in circulation worldwide, including digital versions. Since September 2025, a near-future spin-off titled Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo), with original story by Akutami and art by Yuuji Iwasaki, has been in serialization.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! The long-awaited TV Anime Season 3, “The Culling Game – Part 1,” began airing on Thursday, January 8, 2026, plunging us into the deadly battle royale known as the “Culling Game,” orchestrated by the history’s most evil sorcerer, Kenjaku.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie is the franchise’s first film, a prequel story centered on Okkotsu Yuuta, who later becomes a Special Grade Sorcerer. It was a massive box office success, raking in a staggering 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
