S.H.Figuarts Frieren Figure Gets a Reprint Just in Time for Season 2!

Great news for collectors! From the hit TV anime Sousou no Frieren (also known as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), the elven mage Frieren is making a comeback in the palm-sized action figure series “S.H.Figuarts”. Perfectly timed with the ongoing broadcast of the anime’s second season, the “S.H.Figuarts Frieren” that first launched in May 2024 is finally getting a much-anticipated reprint.

A Journey Beyond the Defeat of the Demon King

The manga Sousou no Frieren, with story by Yamada Kanehito and art by Abe Tsukasa, kicked off its TV anime adaptation in September 2023. The story is set in the “aftermath” world where the Demon King was defeated by a party of heroes. It follows Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a millennium, as she embarks on a journey “to understand people,” prompted by the death of Himmel, the hero she once adventured with to defeat the Demon King.

The series won hearts with its masterful blend of tones—from the chuckle-worthy, comical banter between characters to the serious, magic-and-sword-filled battle scenes. The second season, which started on January 16, 2026, continues the tale from Chapter 61 of the original manga (collected in Volume 7).

The action figure of the 1,000-year-old elf, “S.H.Figuarts Frieren”, is set for re-release starting February 14, 2026.

TAMASHII NATIONS‘s “S.H.Figuarts” series is a standard palm-sized figure line that concentrates all aspects of figure craftsmanship—”sculpting,” “articulation,” and “coloring”—with the theme of “pursuing character expression through movement.”

The “S.H.Figuarts Frieren” comes packed with a wealth of interchangeable face plates, wrist parts, and even magic effect parts.

The cape and skirt use soft materials, allowing for dynamic posing just like in the anime.

Additionally, interchangeable twin-tails are included. By combining them with the three types of face plates, you can enjoy a variety of Frieren’s expressions.

Other accessories include two types of interchangeable wrist parts for each hand, a pair of wrist parts for both hands, magic effect parts, and a set of stands for the magic effects.

The “S.H.Figuarts Frieren” will be available for purchase (reprint) from February 14 at the Tamashii Store and hobby shops nationwide. The price is 8,800 yen (tax included).
