A collaboration event featuring exclusive Miffy goods from JR Nagoya Takashimaya, “Miffy Zakka Festa,” will be held for six days starting May 20, 2026. Over 1,000 exclusive items—the first such gathering in the Tokai region—will be on offer.
Miffy is the beloved protagonist of picture books by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. The character originated from a story Bruna told his eldest son, Sierk, about a rabbit, and the first Miffy picture book was born on June 21, 1955. In the Netherlands, she is known as Nijntje (meaning “little rabbit”). Miffy is a small girl rabbit, and in 2025 she celebrated her 70th anniversary.

At this “Miffy Zakka Festa,” a variety of character goods and daily necessities including event-exclusive items will be available.
One standout exclusive item is the “Apple Apron Mascot,” available in limited quantities on May 20 and 23 (400 pieces per day, limit of 2 per person per day). It measures approximately 16.5 x 12.5 cm.

Additionally, a photo spot called “Apple Tree Photo Spot” will appear, featuring a worldview based on the theme color “red.” It’s an event where you can fully experience Miffy’s charm.
The “Miffy Zakka Festa” at JR Nagoya Takashimaya will be held on the 10th floor event venue. Admission is free.
