The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kureha’s novel Oni no Hanayome (The Ogre’s Bride) has revealed additional cast members and the second character promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2026.

Directing the anime at Colored Pencil Animation Japan is Oomiya Kazuhito, with Kamakura Yumi handling series composition. Tanaka Hikari is in charge of main character design, while Shigekuni Hiroko serves as character designer. Music composition is by Yokoyama Masaru.
Kureha originally began writing the fantasy romance novel on the Novema! website in 2019. Starts Shuppan began publishing the novel under its Starts Shuppan Bunko imprint with illustrations by Shiratani Yuu in October 2020, and released the ninth volume in May 2024.
Togashi Jun began drawing a manga adaptation on Star Shuppan’s noicomi web magazine in December 2021. Star Shuppan published the ninth volume on March 27. NTT Solmare began publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plaza platform in March 2025.
