The ‘Mushishi Exhibition: Traveling Exhibition’, where rare original artwork from the manga ‘Mushishi’ can be seen, has been announced. It will be held at Hiroshima PARCO Main Building 6F ‘PARCO FACTORY’ from June 5 (Friday), 2026.
‘Mushishi’ is a manga by Yuki Urushibara that was serialized in Monthly Afternoon from 1999 to 2008. It tells the story of invisible life forms called ‘Mushi’ and the mushi-shi Ginko who resolves the mysterious phenomena they cause. It won the Excellence Prize in the Manga Division of the 7th Japan Media Arts Festival and the 30th Kodansha Manga Award (General category). The first TV anime season aired in 2005, the second season (Sequel) in 2014, and a live-action film was released in 2007.
Now, an original art exhibition has been announced at Hiroshima PARCO. In addition to displaying numerous beautiful original artworks, original goods only available here will be sold.
