Anime “Gintama” and Tsukiji Gindaco are collaborating. The event will be held from Thursday, May 28, 2026 to Monday, August 10, 2026 at Tsukiji Gindaco stores nationwide (excluding some stores such as tavern-style outlets, stadiums, racetracks, and event venues).
Gindaco x Gintama
“Gintama” is a long-popular entertainment set in Edo, where values suddenly changed with the arrival of aliens (Tenchu). It is known for its hilarious comedy and action, as well as human drama and bonds. The TV anime aired from 2006 over 13 years, concluding with episode 367 in October 2018.
Film versions include “Gintama: The Movie: A New Translation – Benizakura Arc” (2010), “Gintama: The Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya” (2013) written by original creator Sorachi Hideaki, and “Gintama THE FINAL” (2021) adapting the manga’s ending. Additionally, “New Gintama Movie: Yoshiwara in Flames” was released on February 13, 2026, adapting the popular “Yoshiwara in Flames” arc in a wide-screen CinemaScope format.
Now, this series collaborates with Tsukiji Gindaco. Various limited-edition collaboration items will be sold, along with a range of collaboration initiatives.
In this collaboration, special collab takoyaki (8 pieces) will be available, featuring a custom sleeve and card inspired by the Yorozuya and Shinsengumi members.

This collaboration features limited, newly drawn characters, original mini characters, and life-sized character designs on limited collaboration cards. The front of the cards has a “luxurious foil stamping” finish, and among the various cards, there is also a “secret card.”
