Pokémon Cafe TOKYO (Nihonbashi, Tokyo) and Pokémon Cafe OSAKA (Shinsaibashi, Osaka) will launch new menu items and shows starting June 17, 2026.
The Pokémon franchise, which began with the 1996 release of Pokémon Red and Green for Game Boy, has expanded into trading card games, TV anime, and movies, becoming a global phenomenon. This year marks the 30th anniversary as of February 27, with various celebratory content unfolding. The TV anime, which started in 1997, continues after 25 years, and the new series featuring dual protagonists Liko and Roy began in April 2023. The stop-motion animation Pokémon Concierge, a joint production between Netflix and The Pokémon Company, is also streaming.
Now, the Pokémon Cafe is introducing new food, sweets, and drinks inspired by Pikachu, Eevee, and other Pokémon. Additionally, a new show titled “Let’s Make a Sparkling Parfait” (レッツ・メイク・ピカピカパフェ) will debut. The approximately 10-minute show invites guests to make a sparkling parfait together with Pikachu. During the show, one of three special Pikachu characters — Chef Pikachu, Waitress Pikachu, or Patissier Pikachu — will make an appearance.
For each drink ordered, guests will receive a Pokémon 30th anniversary logo sticker (Pokémon Cafe version) as a gift.
Furthermore, Pokémon Cafe TOKYO’s interior is being renovated. A new stage for the “Let’s Make a Sparkling Parfait” show will be added, and even more Pokémon may visit the cafe than before. Why not take this opportunity to stop by?
