On July 29, 2026, the Blu-ray and DVD release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns will hit stores, and the official store-specific purchase bonuses featuring original illustrations by ufotable have been unveiled. Animate, Amazon, and Rakuten Books each offer a unique bonus illustration of characters from the film.
The Demon Slayer series, based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Comics, follows young Kamado Tanjiro after his family is slaughtered by demons and his sister Nezuko is turned into one. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a cure. The series has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The anime, produced by ufotable, began with the TV series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc in April 2019. Chapter 1: Akaza Returns premiered on July 18, 2025, and by April 9, 2026, had drawn 27,455,968 viewers and earned over 40.2 billion yen (approximately 402 billion yen) at the box office over 266 days.
With the home video release approaching, the store-specific purchase bonuses—ufotable’s newly drawn illustrations—have been revealed. Animate offers an illustration of Kamado Tanjiro and Tomioka Giyu; Amazon features Shinobu Kocho; and Rakuten Books presents Zenitsu Agatsuma, all in dynamic poses.

The complete limited edition of the Blu-ray and DVD includes a character design and chief animation director Matsushima Akira’s specially illustrated storage box and digipack, a special three-sided box, a bonus CD (two discs of film-scoring stereo mix background music), and a bonus disc containing cast commentaries (Kimetsu Enroku), domestic stage greeting digest, global highlights 2025, Mezamashi Janken, the special video And Then to the Infinity Castle, and a PV/CM collection. Additionally, a 16-page accordion booklet and a special booklet with production staff and cast comments are included.
