Sanrio characters are getting ready to soak up the summer vibes in a new collaboration with SHONIN PARK. To celebrate the store’s first anniversary, a limited-edition collection featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Pochacco, and the Sugar Bunnies will launch on July 1, 2026, exclusively at SHONIN PARK.
The collaboration takes inspiration from Beppu’s famous seaside sand baths (Beppu Kaihin Saryu), a beloved hot-spring attraction. The characters are illustrated playfully buried in the sand, relaxing with cute expressions—blending the charm of Sanrio with the unique hot-spring culture of Beppu. The design aims to evoke a warm, cozy feeling just by looking at it.
Two types of goods will be available: stickers and acrylic markers. The stickers can be applied to smartphones, notebooks, PCs, and more. The acrylic markers can be attached to umbrellas, plastic bottles, and other everyday items, adding a cute touch to daily life.
