The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ejima Eri‘s manga Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai has revealed additional cast members and a main promotional video on Friday. Originally scheduled for last year, the anime has been delayed to July 7 and will air on AT-X, Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS NTV.

Staff and Theme Songs
Ibata Shouta is directing the anime at Diomedéa. Watari Wataru handles series composition, Matsumoto Mayuko designs the characters, and Hashiguchi Kana composes the music. The opening theme “Inochi Mijikashi Taisuru Otome yo” is performed by HANABIE., while the ending theme “NEW GAME” is performed by halca. Both songs are previewed in the promotional video.
Manga and Release
The anime adapts Ejima Eri‘s school comedy manga, which began serialization in Monthly Comic Flapper in January 2020. Kadokawa published the tenth volume in December 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2021 and released the ninth volume on April 21.
