Studio Ghibli has announced a new lineup of character goods, including a music box that captures Totoro and friends enjoying a peaceful fishing trip, as well as two fan pouches perfect for summer outings. The items will be available from June 20, 2026, at all DONGURI REPUBLIC stores nationwide and the online shop Sora no Ue.

Among the new products, the “Tonari no Totoro Orgel: Totoro-tachi no Tsuri Biyori” is a music box that depicts a serene moment by a forest pond, with the creatures enjoying fishing. The design features O-Totoro sitting on a stump, Chuu-Totoro holding a fishing rod, and a transparent expression reminiscent of the water’s surface, offering different discoveries depending on the viewing angle.

The music box pays close attention to detail, including O-Totoro and Ko-Totoro quietly watching Chuu-Totoro fish, and the fine modeling of the crayfish caught by Chuu-Totoro. The piece rotates as the melody of “Sanpo” gently fills the room.

The “Tonari no Totoro Fan Pouch Usuai-iro” and “Majo no Takkyuubin Fan Pouch Yamabuki-iro” are pouches designed to carry folding fans with Studio Ghibli motifs, adding a touch of coolness to summer outings. The Totoro pouch features a light blue color with Totoro embroidery, while the Kiki’s Delivery Service pouch uses a bright yellow-orange reminiscent of summer sunlight, adorned with Jiji embroidery.

The outer fabric uses calm colors that blend with a Japanese aesthetic, while the inner fabric features a striking bright color when opened. Made in Japan from 100% cotton, these pouches are ideal for carrying the seasonally recommended “Tonari no Totoro Fan Suirin ni Kingyo” or “Majo no Takkyuubin Fan Remon” (each 4,070 yen) neatly during summer outings.
Prices (tax included) are 9,900 yen for the “Tonari no Totoro Orgel: Totoro-tachi no Tsuri Biyori” and 1,870 yen each for the fan pouches. They will be available from June 20, 2026, at all DONGURI REPUBLIC stores (40 locations) and the online shop Sora no Ue.
