To celebrate the upcoming third season of the TV anime Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, ABEMA (the new future television service) will open a dedicated “Mushoku Tensei Channel” for the first time starting June 27, 2026. Until July 4, all previous seasons will be broadcast for free every day.
About the Series
Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu is a grand fantasy based on the light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote, which has surpassed 18 million copies in cumulative circulation (including digital). The story follows a former 34-year-old NEET shut-in who is reincarnated as a boy named Rudeus in a world of swords and magic. Determined to live seriously this time, he grows and embarks on an epic adventure. First serialized on the novel submission site “Shousetsuka ni Narou” in 2012, the series has become a representative work of the isekai reincarnation light novel genre, enjoying immense popularity.
The anime first aired in 2021, captivating fans with its grand world-building and high-quality animation. Season 2 aired in two cours from July 2023 to April 2024. Now, Season 3, titled Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, which depicts Rudeus’s life as he begins to build a new family, is scheduled to air from July 2026 and is drawing even more attention.
Free Marathon Broadcast Schedule
On the newly opened “Mushoku Tensei Channel” on ABEMA, from June 27 until the start of Season 3 on July 4, all 48 episodes of Season 1 and Season 2, plus one OVA from Season 1, will be sequentially broadcast for free each day.
Special Pre-Season 3 Program
On the final day, July 4, at 19:00, a special program titled Anime “Mushoku Tensei III” ~3-ki wa Erisu mo Honki Dasu~ Shugyou-hen Chokuzen Tokuban will be exclusively broadcast for free. The program will feature Kakuma Ai (voice of Eris Boreas Greyrat), as well as Tomatsu Haruka (voice of Nina Farion) and Hikasa Youko (voice of Isolte Cruel), who join the cast from Season 3. They will talk extensively about the highlights of the series. The program will also include footage from the stage greeting at the advance screening event for episodes 1 and 2 (the “Eris Training Arc”) held on June 20.
Season 3 Premiere Details
TV anime Season 3, Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, will be simulcast and fastest-delivered on ABEMA simultaneously with terrestrial TV. The first episode will air on July 4 at 20:00 on “ABEMA Anime 2 Channel” with a two-episode premiere. From episode 3 onward, the series will air every Sunday at 24:00 on “ABEMA Anime Channel” starting July 12. Each episode will be available for free for one week after broadcast.
