The first-ever exhibition for the popular series Odekake Kozame has unveiled its full lineup of attractions, including exclusive merchandise, newly recorded voice audio, and a themed collaboration cafe. The event, titled “Odekake Kozame Ten,” will run from July 22 to August 11, 2026, at Matsuya Ginza’s 8th-floor Event Square.
Exhibition Zones and Interactive Displays
The venue will be decorated with newly drawn illustrations by series creator Penguinbox, immersing visitors in the world of Odekake Kozame. A dedicated area called “Kozame-chan and Outing! Exciting Town Tour” will feature episodes, video displays, and character introductions themed around the various towns Kozame-chan has visited. Photo spots and interactive exhibits include a life-sized statue of Kozame-chan at the entrance, a giant fluffy panel of Usame-chan, a “nuigurumi photo corner” for photographing favorite plush toys, and a fortune-telling station at the kitsune-chan shrine in the “Yozakana Town” area.
Behind-the-scenes content will also be on display, including rare materials and drawing videos from Penguinbox, as well as a “How to Make Kozame” corner that explores the production of the books and anime.
Newly Recorded Voices from Season 2
Throughout the venue, visitors can hear newly recorded voice lines from Season 2, featuring Kozame-chan (voiced by Hanazawa Kana), Ankou-chan (Han Megumi), and Usame-chan (Kuno Misaki). The audio is designed to make it feel as though the characters are exploring the exhibition alongside guests.
Voice Actor Comments
All three voice actors shared their excitement for the exhibition. Hanazawa Kana, who plays Kozame-chan, said: “This exhibition lets you not only immerse yourself in the world of Odekake Kozame but also see behind the scenes—a must-see for fans! And I can already see a future where I spend way too much at the goods counter… (laughs). Please come and meet Kozame-chan and friends!”
Han Megumi, voice of Ankou-chan, commented: “Watching Kozame-chan and the others makes you feel like you’ve gone on an outing, and also makes you want to go on one yourself. Everyone, take this chance to go out and meet Kozame-chan! And let’s celebrate the 5th anniversary!”
Kuno Misaki, who plays Usame-chan, added: “Congratulations on the exhibition! I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of Kozame-chan we’ll meet. I think it will make everyone feel warm, calm, and gentle. I hope all visitors can enjoy Kozame-chan’s outing together and have a wonderful time.”
Exclusive Goods and Collaboration Cafe
The exhibition will sell limited-edition merchandise featuring Penguinbox’s newly drawn illustrations. Additionally, orders will be accepted for “munyugurumi mascot” plushies of Ankou-chan and Usame-chan. For every 5,000 yen (tax included) spent on goods, visitors will receive one random original mini can badge (17 types in total).
Teaser visuals for Ankou-chan and Usame-chan have also been revealed for the first time.
During the exhibition period, a collaboration cafe will open at Matsuya Ginza’s 8th-floor “MG Cafe,” offering original menu items themed around Odekake Kozame. Novelties using the exhibition’s newly drawn illustrations will also be distributed.
