An official website opened for a television adaptation of Makoto Morishita’s manga Sudachi no Maoujou (The Fledgling Demon Lord’s Starter Shop) on Thursday, revealing the main cast, production staff, a teaser visual, and promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
Voice actors Reiji Kawashima (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) and Rumi Ookubo (Mayonaka Heart Tune) are starring as Murabito and Mao, respectively.

Morishita began serializing the fantasy comedy manga in Monthly Shounen Magazine in October 2021. Kodansha published the 12th volume on January 16, with the 13th volume scheduled for release on July 16. Kodansha released the manga in English digitally through K Manga.
Synopsis
